I cant get the racing weekend option to come up in championship mode?

any ideas?..email ok...

What do you mean?  You have either/or.  You are either racing for a
championship OR you are just going out and doing a one race weekend.  If you
just want to do a race weekend, don't select championship, and vice versa.
