Univibe/Number Nine conflict??

by Mat » Wed, 18 Dec 1996 04:00:00

Just got my copy of N2 today (Sierra's finally shipping the
pre-orders....sheesh).  Anyway, I can't get my system to work with
Univibe.  I have a Number Nine Imagine 128 Series II 4M VRAM with the
latest drivers.  It works okay without it, but I'm not too impressed
with the frame rate (running on a P166).  Does anyone know if there is
a known conflict with this card and Univibe?  And does Univibe make
that much of a difference??

Thanks in advance,
Matt

UNIVBE appears to improve framerates on my Stealth 64 VRAM card about
20-30%.  This is quite significant.  /THansen
