rec.autos.simulators

just installed the new cars but there are no sounds when I drive it.

There is ambient sound and sound from other cars but none from mine.

I'm running at 22 khz and I've got sound when I use other cars.

Is it beacuse they are extra cars and sound was not included in the zip
file?

By the way , the cars are great looking. Keep up the good work.

When is EA releasing the new cars and/or tracks?

Any ideas with my prob?

Now, i've downloaded the EMKA Mclaren and it's not working. There's a text
file missing.

Download the 1.2 Sound Upgrade, copy all the *.wav files from that
upgrade into your 22kh sound folder.

DO NOT install the vechile.mas file.

Yes, go to my web site and re-download the car.. There was some files
missing from several of the cars.
While the file is not REQUIRED, if you do not know the dimensions of
the graphic file, ReadMAS 2.0 will say such and such text file is not
present, please enter the proper dimensions, and another prompt will
show h:0 and w:0..
Just re download the car(s) and you'll be fine.
