I just tried Spa 67 (the GPL conversion) for rF, and it's quite well
done! Takes a while to load (longer than most other rF tracks), but FPS
is great in single practise (in the hundreds), and taking the Demon for
the spin brought back memories (mostly of countless, deadly offs through
Masta and so on ;)

Both have been added to rF Rank now, too (the Demon and Spa 1967, that
is).

Can we expect more conversions from GPL's huge track portfolio? Are
those much harder to convert than other tracks? Has some kind of
breakthrough in track conversion tech been achieved?

GPL track selection is very very good, but conversions are usually not very
well done. Lets hope that the GPL track making community will move on
soon....

I'm not hoping for any more conversions. A scratch made Spa67 (a realistic
one, not that not-so-accurate Papyrus version) is high on my list :) I've
had enough of the Papy version. Same goes for almost any other track.
Conversions are just shortcuts to get us nearly there for rFactor, but not
quite.
