Is anyone working on the new points system update for Cup races?
Is there one already out there?

I hope not.

The new Nascar point system is for the FANS, not the racers.  Since we don't
have 200,000 people watching us we don't need this silly change.

IMHO...

Gee what a shock, Larry not wanting to change :)   (How youve made it as a
tech with that tude Ill never know as change IS the PC industry)

I dont really care either way but I like the new points system because it
brings the top guys back to the mere mortals and adds a bit of e***ment.
Not that anything would change much in RASCAR, the same guys will likley
dominate the last ten just the like previous 26 :-)

Ok..let me clarify something. I didn't intend to open this can of worms. I'm
not happy with the new system either but it's done. I was at Homestead last
Nov. and I saw 2 od the 3 championships decided at the last race which (the
CTS on the last lap!!) which is the way it should be.
My question was mainly directed for off-line racing. Every year I  try
to find good quality carsets and run the championship mode for the season.
BTW I'm looking for 2004 complete carsets with realistic ratings for the
drivers. What I have now are somewhat pieced together and the drivers a
little out of whack.
    TIA
Timmy

Fans have nothing to do with wanting/liking the new system.  It's for the
tv network $

BTW, Mitch.  I have nothing against change.

What I am against is change for the SAKE of change, where said change
doesn't provide reasonable benefits to all involved.

And I do quite fine in the PC/Electgronics  industry, thank you.
