I`ve got a Geforce FX, 256mb of memory and i seem to get texture tearing...
i mean when i go around a corner in a sim, you sometimes get the top part of
the screen move 1st etc,,,

I`ve got driver version 53.03...
Any ideas

Thanks

What you described sounds like a vsync problem, not a texture problem.  You
can get rid of it by turning vsync on in the nVidia control panel, but you
may lose a bit of frame rate as a result.  Try it and see if you like it, if
it costs too much frame rate you can always turn it off again.

Vsync makes sure that the entire screen is rendered before it is shown.
Without this you get the problem you had where only half the screen is
shown...for me it makes me motion sick very quickly.

That's usually because you have Verticle Sync turned off.  But, you get
better frame rates that way.

Try turning Vertical Sync back on, and if it doesn't affect  your frame
rates that bad (it doesn't always show a hit), then leave it on.

I would guess that has to do with the frequency your monitor runs
at. Make sure it runs in 85Hz in all DirectX-OpenGL modes and you
should have no problems.
