Does anyone know how to make a consistently good start in TOCA2? When I get
pole position, by the time I've reached the first corner, I'm usually back
in 6th or 7th place!

Wiggle the car left and right when the race starts with full throttle. It
stops the wheelspin to some degree and you can get away with the other cars
instead of being left for dead.

Also bang it up into second fairly quickly - sometimes I can get a hell of a
jump on the AI cars doing this.

Keep the revs at about half before thr red light. As soon as you hit the
redline change to 2nd. Works for me.
