Who says you have to use a keyboard to get a fast time?

No driving aids!
No steering help!
Does use the sensitivity settings
"wheel", pedal combo that is primarily designed for flight sims

Have a look in alt.binaries.simulators.autos for the hotlap. I haven't
deleted the performance data, so feel free to have a look at it and
the set-up.

That would get you fourth place on the CompuServe chart - the top three
are all using wheels and no steering help as well :)

The only way to drive (well, the most fun anyway!)

Drat! Well it was nice thinking I had the best time for a while. At
least it is _one_ of the best.

Guess, I will have to find one of those free Compuserve trials & go an
have a look....

Most definitely. Still trying to work out if the GP500 is worth more
to me than a printer <g>
