developing what amounts to Ford Unleashed for
Empire Interactive. Thirty-two different

The 49 Coupe is a treat for those who wanted Motor
City Online to be Offline and who have always
wanted to drive the car featured in San Francisco
Beat aka The Lineup. ;)

Speaking of which, have you tried the TIR patches yet, MrLipid? There
is even an Advanced Physics Patch that is designed to work with the
TIR demo, so you can sample the goodness even if you don't have the
full version:
http://irlheat.bhmotorsports.com/TIR/
Ford Racing should turn out to be a real treat for sim racers -- I
think both this and Mercedes-Benz World Racing will be very pleasant
surprises indeed.
:-)

I have just downloaded the TIR demo and have the
full game on order. Looking forward to seeing
what sorts of magic lurk in the revised physics.
How would you compare the new TIR physics with
those in Spirit of HEAT?
Also, it occurs to me that with a 1949 Ford coupe,
it would be possible to do a Thunder Road mod,
featuring high speed white lightning runs on dark
and hilly back roads....
Thunder, thunder,
They called it Thunder Road,
The devil was his partner and white lightning was
his load.... etc. ;)

Looking forward to hearing your impressions of the patched demo!

Having spent a fair amount of time with both the
patched TIR demo and the SOH mod, I have to say
I'm very happy to have both on my hard drive! The
P3 at Sears Point is tremendous fun. ;) Even
spent some time with Viper Racing for an
additional comparison.
What I really need to do is clear off enough space
so that I can load up the full version of TIR.
Those tracks demand more attention than can be
given them in one lap. And when FRE ships, well,
I plan to drive the wheels off that '49 coupe!
Thanks again for all the work on SOH.
