I used to on-line race with Grand Prix Legends. What is the biggest
on-line racing sim to date and what hardware spec is needed to run a
good on-line race, as i'm about to upgrade.

gpl is still pretty popular, F12002 and it's various mods are fairly popular
online, but you won't see anything like the number of drivers you would in a
gpl race because of the bandwidth requirements.

If you're interested in NASCAR, Papy's N4, NR2002 and the new NR2003 are
probably the only ones other than gpl to choose from if you are looking for
alot of opponents imo.

NR2003 and F12002 are probably the most demanding of the titles I listed,
although gpl needs quite a bit of graphics power too if you use the latest
graphics updates (www.gplea.org).

You can get demos for all these, they should give you an idea of what sort
of spec you'll need.
