A weel wheel problem

by Russ » Wed, 20 Jun 2001 20:32:56

Hi guys and girls,

I have a problem with my Logitech Formula wheel (the black one) and I was
hoping that someone in here would be able to enpower me with some knowledge,
if you don't mind of course. I enjoy this newsgroup emensly and feel that I
am always asking for but never giving advice. Anyway I quess this is me
saying thanks to everybody that has helped me in the past.

Onto the problem....

I just refomatted my hard drive as the windows me problems were driving a
man to drink. So I go to install my wheel, all fine update from site,
remembered that there is a 4.0 released just recently I also install this.

Now I have situation where the wheel isn't responding, and when I go into
Profiler it comes up only with the task bar and nothing else, it just hangs
there. I can Ctl+Alt+Del and end task but this takes forever. I cannot use
the wheel at all. Also the right hand light goes on and off all the time.

Has anybody else encounted this and if so is there a solution?

Thank you in advance

Russ

I, too, have Windows ME. Frequently, the Wingman driver doesn't load with
Windows, especially after having ctrl-alt-deleted out. Re-installation
usually solves the problem- for a few days.

Sorry, not much help.
