WHODUNNIT: The Great Silverstone GP Robbery??

by Swindell » Sat, 01 May 1999 04:00:00

Have you noticed that as you go under the bridge, just before the last turn at
Silverstone (now known as Abby on the modern track) caught on camera is a
spectator apparently with his hands up in the air. Is he being robbed? Who is
the thoroughly unwholesome chap committing the crime?

Keep you eyes peeled at the rest of the 60's GP tracks for this man. If seen,
the local constabulary should be contacted immediatly!

Funny. just noticed that man myself,  but I just wondered if he would still
be waving on my next lap. Never figured it out, crashed in Copse and changed
to Spa-practice instead. Guess the man is payed by the Silverstone-track to
wave at practising GP-drivers.

WHODUNNIT: The Great Silverstone GP Robbery??

He stole a pitboard from the paddock (drive slowly past him). And he's
just been found by one of the team's staff who is conducting a citizen's
arrest. Or something.
