They are now on Sports Channel. Which is now owned by FOX.

Hi David,
Hey it was on today at 10:30 est. I believe. Well it was
5:30 am here.
But the reason it isnt on ESPN2 anymore is they lost the contract. Its now
shown on Fox Sports Network.
Let me know if you want I taped it.

The races are also shown live on Speedvision if you get it...
I don't think ESPN is even showing the capsulated version this
season, it was listed for race one in my TV guide but it never aired.
And it wasn't listed for Brazil. Thank goodness I get FOX sports, this
is my first season getting to catch non edited broadcasts since I
never had ESPN2.
Adam
Hi Adam,
Same as me, I never got ESPN2 either.
Hey that Fox Sports is pretty good coverage !
Good camera angles and good commentary too I thought.
Also my 1st season getting it live. I use to buy the Duke
Video's year in review which was good but this is better.

I'd love to catch the races, but is there an air-time schedule available
for FOX sports? I got the SpeedVision schedule, but i dont get that
channel. Thanks. (I'm asking cause i heard FOX isn't showing it live).

Fox Sports Net is made up of a number of groups of stations situated all around
the US. Each group is allowed the option of showing the Formula 1 Races live or
on a tape delay. I believe that most of the Fox group showed the race from
Japan live. Check the Fox website for your local schedule. There is a place in
the site to type in your zip code and get a local listing. Call your local Fox
Sports affiliate and let them know you HAVE to see the races live!
As for the broadcast team of Mike Joy and Derek Bell...well, I'll give 'em
another race or two, but MJ better take a crash course in driver name
pronunciations! This ain't NASCAR boy! I never thought I'd miss Kenny Maime...
don
Hah! Kenny Maine did commentary for the Deuce (ESPN2)? That's wacked,
can't picuture it...Bob Varsha <sp>? was pretty good on ESPN I thought
but I'll take the full version with pre and post race stuff with new
guy anyday.
Adam
ESPN does show f1, but its all replays during the week between 3 and 5 AM.

Now this is ironic! I am dying to watch NASCAR on TV here in Germany, but
all they give us are replays or -sometimes- a live race. Whish I could watch
not only the races, but the whole stuff like interviews, press-conferences,
qualifyings etc. as well. Any idea?
