1. export the car from the slot you want to put it in.  It'll have
some wierd name like slip93.pcx (in this case, the last car slot)

Rename your car to "import" as this name, go to that particular car
position (in paintkit) and select it for paint.  Import should bring
it in.

2. If you have Windows 95 I can help you out.
  a. export your car you want to work on.  it will be a pcx file.
  b. load it into win95's paint program
  c. load a 2nd picture into win95's paint program with your scanned
image
 d. manipulate your scanned image (i.e, shrink it, crop it, whatever)
before you bring it into the paint program.
 e. highlight the scanned image, then copy it to the clipboard
(ctrl+c)
 f. go to the car picture and select paste from the clipboard (ctrl-v)
 g. drag the image to where you want it, and click.
 h. grab the sides of the image and adjust it till it's where you want
it to be. click and you're done with the car.
 j. save it off as a 256 color bmp file
 j. load up something like Lview Pro, open the picture and save it as
a PCX file
 k. go to paintkit, select the car again, and IMPORT.

Hope that helped! Any confusion, just email me.

btw, this gave me a wonderful race car for my fiance.  She's a Dave
Marcis fan.  She now has her dalmation on the front of the car and the
71 numbers ala d.marcis style!
