Stick shift?

Stick shift?

Been using computers for a long time, but never got into *** until
now.  I saw some interesting car race sims and started looking at the
steering wheels on the market.  I also read this group for a while.
My question is, almost everything I saw had shifters as buttons (or
little levers) on the steering wheel.  I know it's used that way in
many racing cars, but are there good steering wheels with traditional
stick shift available?  I'm used to it, and would also like to use it
to teach someone else how to use stick shift dry before the actual
driving.  A couple of wheels I saw had something that pretended to be
stick shifters, but they were laughable.

Any recommendations?  Any games (simulations) where cars can still be
operated with stick shift instead of buttons?

Act Labs will be coming out with the RS Shifter to go with the RS Wheel.  Go

Apparantly yes.  Unfortunately, according to the reply I got from Act
Labs, clutch will not be forthcoming until maybe next year, and that's
because of the lack of support for clutch in the sims.

Considering that, I probably will not buy the shifter until clutch
support exists (in software and hardware).  Question for other racers
here:  without the above gear, do you consider Act Labs wheel and
pedals better or those of Logitech (Wingman w/Force Feedback)?
