I just download the beta version of Ubisoft F-1. The graphics were great,
and the handling seems to be excellent. I think this is going to be the
next great F-1 sim. I hope they do not try to make it like an arcade game,
like sony's power F-1! I also sure hope micropose is also working on a new
version
even though they deny it. I guess in the coming year, lots of new sim will
pop up!

I was not able to play this demo with my Thrustmaster, and could only use
my keyboard. This can make the demo somewhat hard to compare to GP2, since
I do not play with the keyboard. Are their any keyboard players who have
played both GP2 and the ubisoft demo? What do you think?

Can the demo be played with steering wheel?

Thanks,
Gostal

You need to configure your T2 in WIN95 properly,
also try Thrustmaster website and get this small
program called PRO PANEL, if your T2 was buit before
November 96' YOU NEED THE ADAPTER (same as
the T1) If your T2 is built after Nov. 96' just configure
in WIN 95 as 2 axis 4 button joystick.

I will do a full guide regarding this this weekend
on my website at:

http://infoweb.magi.com/~ericcote/gp2menu.html

OIt should be released before Sunday Evening
(EST)

Take care, Eric

Jay:

There's an excellent web site for this sim at:

            http://www.geocities.com/~chboll/

There it states the following:

Minimum: P120, 2MB Ram, 3dfx, 4xCD ROM.

Recommended: P166, 3dfx.

Hope this helps...

God Bless,

Andre
