When I am finished creating a new paint job on a car in NASCAR 3, how can I add a shadow effect to make the car look more realistic? All replies are greatly appreciated!

I use Paint Shop Pro 5/6, and I simply either darken the colors as I get lower on the car or I'll fade the color from the lighter color to the darker using the Linear Gradient Fill tool. If you use PSP, I'll go into more detail if you want...
