I have just heard that Smokey Yunick has died.

The first age of NASCAR is now over.

Smokey, I hope you get into heaven by taking advantage of a loophole in the
rules. It would only be appropriate, and here's hoping you kept 7 extra
gallons of whatever you'll need there hidden in a fat fuel line.
