Hi,

I read some good things about CMR here on r.a.s. so I decided to DL the
demo. What a disappointment :-(
- No wheel support
- No 3dfx support
- Transparent car and objects (???)

How am I supposed to decide whether or not to buy this sim with this
kind of demo. Is there any way for me to see and more important feel
what the full version is like before buying it? A wheel and/or 3dfx
patch for the demo? Does the full version even have 3dfx support?

Hi Johan!

CMR supports 3dfx. I have the Microsoft FF Wheel and it is very very great.
Playing by internet works so fast, you wont believe.

Okay, there is one you should do:      GET IT !!!!!

New updated demo came out today, it's suposed to have all this "fixed". I
haven't got it so I can't say, but you can get it from AGN or Voodoo Extreme.

it in 20 minutes.

Don't download it! It still sucks! I get shimmery flickering black and white
polygons! I can drive, but what's the fun of driving through a polygon
landscape. I have all the newest drivers and my 3Dfx card is even mentioned
in the reade. But it still doens't work. I can't believe how Codemasters
get's this done. I won't buy the game before I get a running demo.
