Stunts...

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a game around like a new improved version
of the old classic "Stunts"?  I loved that game, and still play it, but
there are a few things which could be improved and if anyone knows of a
good 'sequal' I would really appreciate it.

Carmageddon is about as close as you'll get I think. Whiplash has some
interesting tracks with loopdy loops and such also. Those 2 are all I
can think of that sorta come close. <shrug>

I actually had a chance to talk to Don Mattrick of EA Canada some years
ago and asked him what his company's next driving game would be.  I also
suggested that Stunts be updated, though he gave me a "Maybe..." that
sounded a lot like "Probably not!"  Too bad, as Stunts has been in my
computers' hard drives since I got it.

By the way, Mr. Mattrick's game-in-the-works at the time was
"McLaren at LeMans" which people on this newsgroup may have heard about a
while back.  My guess is that when the project was dropped, whatever code
they had was dumped into NFS2.  Or at least the McLaren licence was, if
the game engines weren't the same.

Which leads to a big speculative question:  Is there a LeMans
track out there for NFS2?  If only!
