At many web sites devoted to sim racing, I've seen some pretty awesome
screen shots, and was wondering what program people use to get these.  
Is it share/freeware?  I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in
the right direction.

Matt,

All you need to do is press the Print screen key from within the racing program
(Nascar-ICR). This creates a .PCX file which you can view with Paintbrush,
neopaint, Lview, Paint Shop Pro, etc.
