So, anybody know any concrete info on this title? The official site is
pretty dry.

Is it going to be like Midotwn Madness in scope or what?

If you take a peek at major sites, they mostly have previews of it from E3.
I think it will be released for the Playstation only.  It has LA and Miami
modeled (Im not sure how big, still).  It is in the same "style" as MMM
since you race in a city, but it seems more axed on doing missions, picking
up people, delivering stuff, etc..

I can't say much about the physics, but I heard that it is quite good for a
Playstation racing game, and it models cars from the 1970's, so I guess it
will nice to recreate Bullit-style chases :)

It will be like Midtown Madness in the respect that you get a whole city
(actually 4) to drive around in, instead of a track. But the cities will be
much larger than the Chicago depicted in Midtown... I also know that it will
have a more crime-based approach to racing... Think GTA in 3D... You get
bank jobs, which you have to complete in order to earn the crime bosses'
favour. The only difference between this and GTA, is that in Driver you will
not be able to get out of your car. Also it will have a smarter police
system, way smarter than the one in Midtown, AI sucks in Midtown. It will be
out for the PSX on July 8th, and in September for the PC. Also, it will
feature 70s cars, but none of them will have their real names, because GT
did not get a lisence. That's pretty much all I know... I can't wait 'til
this game is released!
