Does anyone know much about the sound format used by Papyrus' sims, RAW?
Are there good editors for this format out there?  I'm trying to put the
engine sound of a touringcar into N1.  I'm probably just going to port the
ICR2 sound over using pack/unpack.

RAW is exactly that, raw sound samples. Sound Forge for one can deal
with them, but I'd imagine that any sound editor worth a damn could
handle RAW files...

There is a "grovel-ware" program called WHAM.  I don't know if there is
a Win95 version, but there is a Win3.x version floating about.  It will
handle raw 8-bit sound format files.  I used to listen to all of the
sounds we were not privy to in GP2 and I assume the file format is the
same for Papy's products.  Do a search for it via http://www.search.com
