Hello,

As i have mentioned earlier i have gotten myself a new system 50 % of it paid
by my employer, and installed all my sims on it.

But i have encountered a weird problem with SGCT.

I had done other things for a while, like browsing on the internet and so
on, and when I returned to SCGT, the steering was gone.

But not completely. I can use my pedals, even in split axis. But it won't
recognize the X axis of my MS FF wheel. Other games work fine.

I reinstalled the game and it worked fine after that.

Then it disappeared aging. No X-axis steering. But this time i just rebootet
and it worked fine again.

My system is: Compaq Presario 5296, PIII 450, Cl V2 with 2.56 Q3 drivers,
ATI Rage Pro, Ensoniq 1896, Win 98 with IE 4.0. MS FF wheel.

Do anyone have an idea about what could be wrong ?

Next time you lose the steering, exit the game and go to your control
panel -> game controllers setup and test your steering there. This way, you
will know if it's a problem with SCGT or Windows.

Damn, I'm not good enought to write those "my system doesn't work" posts yet,
maybe because my system seems to work for most of the time. I forgot to mention
that I did test the steering in the control panel, and my other games work
fine.
