PRO RACES WITH NOVICE DAMAGE?

by BendsMast » Sat, 18 Sep 1999 04:00:00

Can that be done?
In a crash in a pro race the AI seem to have an unfair advantage. In
almost every crash they drive away and finish the race, Whereas my car
is in most races undriveable.

Any info appreciated.

PRO RACES WITH NOVICE DAMAGE?

I think you're asking for longer races when using the novice setting.

In your GPL folder there is a 67season.ini file.  Just change the number
of laps entry for all all the races.  Note that a short race is 15% and
long is 30% of the total number of laps.  I don't know what percentage
novice races are, but you can play with the numbers.

Oh yeah, backup the ini file before changing it ;-)
