NASCAR 2 - QUALIFY ANYWHERE AND START ON THE POLE!!!

SUBJECT:        Qualify Anywhere start on the POLE!!!!

In the NASCAR 2 game like the NASCAR 1 and INDYCAR 2 if you
want to start on the pole no matter where you qualify its
easy.  The way the PAPYRUS software works is you qualify
and all the drivers are put in chains.  The trick is to break
the chain and the game loses track of you.

ie.  I qualified 29th out of 36 cars at taladega.  The game
was using the PACE LAP feature.  So when the game starts if
you want to skip 29 cars its easy.  You just pull off the
track below the white line and wait about 5 to 8 seconds and
than all the cars behind you will pass you..  What has occured
is the game has dropped you from the chain of cars that lined
up behind the pace car.  Now you are free to drive anywhere on
the track and you will not be told my the software to get
back in line.  So the best thing I could figure out to do was
drive and start on the POLE.  Now if you start in the RIGHT lane
its even better as you force a single file start.  That must have
been what this feature was all about.

Now we reported what we thought was a bug in NASCAR 1 and INDYCAR 2.
But we keep finding it.  It must not be a BUG but a FEATURE!!
I hope this fix this before NRO!!!
