Indianapolis 500: best times

I was recently playing Indianapolis 500, an older game released by Papyrus (although I may be wrong).
It's old, but you really get the feel of going 235+ MPH down the straights. Anyway, I was wondering
if anyone still plays this game, and if they do, or did, what their best times are. I got a 38:61 a few days
ago, and was wondering if that's competitive. Thanks

competition to see who could get the fastest lap, I got close but didn't
quite beat it. I can't remember the exact figure but I know mine was in
the 242+ MPH region. You have to use the buick and an joystick or you
don't stand a chance.

Anybody know if you can use a T1 on Indy500?  (just curious)
I am NOT paranoid.  And why are you always watching me?!?

I remember a lap I've complete at 241.1 or 241.2 mph few years ago(I was
in an intensive training period of Indy500!).
It's just incredible to stay on the track at these speeds! (more than
235 in the corners), with the lola-buick, obviously.
