If anyone here knows anything about motherboards, please help.....

Does it make a difference which one you buy??
What's a good brand??
Is DTK good??   If no-one knows, how can I find out??

        For probably more info than you could ever want you should check
out the      comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware      hierarchy.
        comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.systems
        comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.chips

        Those are two of them...there are others...
        Quite a few people there know what they are talking about. (some don't
of course   :)   )
        You will for sure be "on topic" there also.
