Maybe someone can help me with a few questions. I just bought a new
mother board & chip and was finally able to install I76. My questions
are 1:I cant get the game to recognize my T2 wheel&pedals. When I got
the wheel it came with an adapter for Win95 at least thats what I think
its for.The closest I got was the gas pedal made the car turn. It trys
to have me calibrate in win95. It does recognize the wheel
2:Do I install the directx drivers? I have a screamin 3D video card. I
dont want to***it up. Everything works great in
nascar2.                           My system:mmx200 32mb edo 512
pipeline screamin3d video  No gamecard     T2 wheel&pedals.     Any help
would be appreciated. thanks, Doug D

Hmm, I had I76 working with a T2 thru Win95.  But this was before
direct X 5 so the workaround was to choose a 2 axis 4 button joystick.
Make sure the adapter is plugged in.
Calibrate the wheel and pedals exactly like win95 says in the
control panel section.   then when you choose the wheel in I76 you
have to assign the proper functions to the right sections of the
wheel.
Accel is like Y axis forward.
  Brake is Y axis back
Steering is X axis left and right
The shifter can be programed to move the weapons choices or to
choose forward or reverse gearing, and the two buttons can also toggle
thru the weapons....to I76 the 2 button and the shifter are the same
as the 4 buttons on the joystick.
  Good luck have fun!

Just use a joystick .It works much better than the wheel.
