Overkill... ?

Ok... I have my lowly, old Stealth 3240 with an additional 2mb of
VRAM for a total of 4mb VRAM. My machine? A P90 with 32mb EDO RAM. Now,
my step-brother just purchased a Matrox Millenium with 4mb WRAM and the
4mb daughtercard for a total of 8mb WRAM.
My question, how does my current video configuration, with Diamonds
latest drivers of course, stack against his in terms of DOS games such
as IndyCar Racing II, NASCAR Racing and GP II (his machine is heavy duty
for lots of CAD/CAM work)? I realize his is better, but is it overkill
for my needs? How much better can I possibly get, compared to what I
have, if I get a new card? In other words, am I pretty close to the mosr
performance I can get and is too much video memory unneccesary? Thanks
ahead of time...
