I've heard talk of people viewing replays in F1GP. Is there a special
version of F1GP, or is there somesort of patch I can get hold of?

Easy! Simply pause the game, and press "R".
Et voila! You have a 20sec replay ,with adjustable camera views (check the
manual about the keys!)

Pause the game then press 'R' for replay, you can change views using
page up/down and the arrow keys. Or something like that.

"Replays" in F1GP are just saved games - load the game, and hit "R"
instead of unpausing it.

Is there any way to patch the game to allow longer replays to be stored, or
is that impossible due to how the replays are stored?

Pause the game while racing, and press R!
