I know this topic has been constantly beaten to death, but I was just
looking for quick feedback on which wheels are the best for GPL. Which
last the longest?

And is force feedback that much of an addition to GPL? I reckon they
would cost under $100 nowadays.

It would probably be a choice between the MS, Guillemont and ACTLabs.

One criterion that I need is the ability to use the gear shifters as
gas/break pedals, in addition the a pedal set. Do all three allow
this?

Thanks for any info.

ThrustMaster is the only active wheel company sponsoring racing groups. I
represent LikeReal Racing a North American NASCAR LAN Racing series that
hosts 4-6 LANS around the US. ThrustMaster sponsored us with Money, wheels,
and support and have attended our events (along with a Winston cup driver or
two). In addition we will be giving away over 7500.00 cash this year to our
PRO Division drivers.

ThrustMaster (Guillemot) is interested in growing the sport of sim racing
with us and they take an active role, if for no other reason than to support
a company that is trying to support this community I would by their wheels
(Plus for 70 bucks the PRO2 is the best on the market).

I use the Guillemot Ferarri Force Feedback wheel and love it. Still smooth
and solid after 6 months or so. It also has gas and brake paddles below the
F1 style shifters which work when you unplug the pedals. It also has a stick
shifter on the right. Everything you need.

I wouldn't be without force feedback for anything - love it. The GPL
feedback is phenomenal. NFS:Porsche is nice too. SCGT is loses too much
framerate with FF enabled though.

I have the Ferrari wheel as well, I use it very often and really like it.
Sturdy wheel, strong and detailed force-feedback.
Force-feedback enhances the immersion factor a lot, using a non-FF wheel now
gives me a feeling something is not right, like when sound is missing.
