I think this is the same thing as the clock "smash" in GPL. It's kinda
hard to explain. Mainly, your pc smashes the "delay" between your pc and
the other pc, so that everybody is synchronized. But I'm sure someone
will provide you with a better explanation.

letters.  What does this mean?  (I have a fast cable connection, and
bandwith is usually not a problem unless the host has over-committed
himself by allowing too many drivers at once.)
