Sounds good on the surface, except when he says he wants to increase
sanctioning fees. CART's fees are already much higher than IRL's,
that's why MIS will not have a CART race next year. Change the
management - yes, but make racing even more expensive (for the fans) and
exclusive - no.

Yes, you hit it on the head. That was the thing that stood out the most to
me, too.

Increase sanctioning fees up to F1 standards? Talk about the death of
CART...

Yes, excellent... but the pessimist in me says "I'll believe it when I see

With all the latest developments this year, what is not the death of
CART ? It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't thing going on
right now.
