I am not able to start the game. If I click the icon the CD spins up,
dies down after a few seconds and nothing happens...I am staying at
the desktop. Installed everything according to the readme. I do not
have a clue to whats wrong. The system is running on Win98 with a
Gforce2 card. Any idea is welcomed.

Do you hear a 'PING' as the two title screens load?  There are some
missing files in one of the mas files in the options folder.  Thrasher fixed
it a day or so ago.   So go back to Thrashers site and REDOWNLOAD the
options.rar file.  Extract that to the options folder of your Turbo install
and MAKE sure the new files overwrite the old files.
2nd.  One paticular instruction has been confusing folks.  He wanted you
to DELETE the CAR folders inside the Seasonxx/vehicles.  But many users have
been deleting EVERYTHING inside the vehicle folder.
good luck

Thanks, It was a missing file in the download, as you mentioned. It is
running now although it is very "crash-sensitive". Good effort, some
nice cars. I love the way the turbo-lag is moddeled.
