N2: Engine Reliability

Hi all,

Talk about being born under a bad sign. During the last *five* consecutive
races I have lost my engine. None of my race setups abuse the engine. I've
even tweaked them to not have the warning light come on. The most RPMs I
turn is around 8500. Has anyone else had a string of luck worse than this?
It might make me feel better.<G>

Wouldn't it be great if you could hire and fire different engine builders?
At this stage of things I would show my current builder the door and would
be offering Robert Yates about five million dollars to build for me. <G>

Have fun turning left,

Hi Barry

I must have been born under the same sign because my NCR2 season (of 50%
races) has gone as follows:
Rockingham              1st
Richmond                14th
Atlanta         1st(with oil press reading 20psi)
Darlington              1st
Bristol         1st
North Wilkesboro        1st
Martinsville            DNF(engine)
Talladega               DNF(engine)
Sears Point             1st
C***te               DNF (engine)
Dover                   DNF(engine)
Pocono          1st
Michigan                23rd

Although the engine failure at Martinsville was due to happen, the rest
dropped me from a 150 point lead to a 60 point deficit.

The biggest disappointment was over where I had fought from spins, crashes
and starting 30th to lead dominately when on lap 150, then engine blew.

I think it may be a bug :-)
