Gas pedal spring broken after 6 months of very gentle use....  Don't make
the mistake I did and wait for an actual breakage to occur...get replacement
parts ahead of time.  Now that I have seen the innards of the unit, the
brake spring looks quite sturdy, whereas the gas pedal spring looks quite
flimsy (not just because mine had snapped).

P.S. Thrustmaster had better be sending me a complete parts kit and not just
a single spring after all this time or I will be a very unhappy camper...and
will be letting them know about it.

Good news on this end anyway. My spring kit arrived Sat 7/25. Haven't taken unit
apart yet as the *** band I'm using works pretty good, but the gas pedal
spring looks heavier than the orig. Sheesh! how hard is it to make a spring that
doesn't break in the first place. 15 working days to get a free part isn't too
bad I guess.

Another thing to try if fax them if u have that capability, I just resent having
to spend $ on phone calls and waiting on hold forever.
