Drag Racing?

I've been hoping for the exact same thing for about a year and a half
now but can't seem to find anything. :-(

Maybe if we all started emailing the *** co.'s they would make one?

Drag Racing?

It probably wouldn't help. Papyrus seems intent on making some 1960's open
wheel sim or something and I wouldn't want any other company even
attempting one because they probably couldn't do it justice. Whenever this
topic comes up in this group, people usually say, "A drag racing sim is a
niche product and wouldn't sell well. Besides, it's not racing anyway, you
just go in a straight line. Where's the challenge in that?" Then explain
the appeal of GP2 to me for people in the US, where they don't even race F1
cars. NHRA races in more parts of the country than NASCAR, and NASCAR 2 is
selling quite well. There is much more to a drag racing sim than punching
the gas when the light turns green. There are many tuning options  over
many classes that could be included in a sim and think of the multi-player
possibilities...exciting side-by-side racing with no stupid little 10 year
olds waiting at the finish line to take out the leader.

I feel that whoever does decide to do a drag racing sim will make a lot of
money...I know they'll get mine.
