LWFF "belt tightening"

by GraDe » Wed, 07 Mar 2001 03:20:53

I bought my LWFF over a year ago, and one reason was this "belt" ststem they
claimed to use which supposedly tightened as the wheel got older to stop
free-play.

Problem.. My wheel ahs lots of freeplay lately, in all direction, up down,
in, out, left and right and forces (especially centring spring) seems weak.

Can anything be done, this belt thingy they claimed to have ain't working!

TIA.

Graham,

There's a bearing kit available.  Didn't bookmark the URL, but I know Achim
Trensz has tried it.

There's always WD-40.  Or Teflon plumber's tape if yer *really* stingy.
