Frankly, I think this would be a huge advertising avenue for Papyrus, and I
think THEY should write one for us.

I have done it with a heavily modified version of GPL movie studio.  That
was with the demo though and it only allowed me to take 100 screenshots
before it recycled and wrote over the first one.  I'm not sure if the Full
version is limited to 100 grabs, haven't tried yet.

Well, the mpg replay thing for GPL did its job, but not fully since all it
really did was take screenshots for you one by one and would bog down the
system.  The reason you haven't found any true replay converters is because
of the rpl file format and because no one has officially released to the sim
community all the 3do/trk information for us to make such a thing possible.
(Damn Sim***world Bastards keep all their utilities for themselves)
