texture was. Thanks for the info Ken. Looks like I'll have to
get that extra 4Mb earlier than I thought.
As a newcomer, I'd be grateful for some advice:
I've spent all my time so far at Milwaukee, and have managed to get
upto 167MPH in practice. Unfortunately the car is so fidgety that
as soon as I actually race anybody I tend to fly into the barriers
or other drivers. I'm running 7' Rear and 9' front wings,
stiffest Anti-roll bars and 1" stagger. My tyres seem uniformly
(IMO) hot, although Front Right is well over 300' for most of the
race.
The thing is - I don't know if this is a good setup or not. Should
my car be so fidgety ? Or is this a consequence of being on the
limit ?
I think what would really help would be an example setup (a good
one, but not necessarily someone's prized super-duper secret
formula) with explanations as to WHY a 13' rear wing with minimum
ARB's and soft shocks is better than 7' with Full ARB's and
suspension at 100%. My problem seems to be that I have so many
variables to adjust I find it very hard to optimise them,
especially as I don't know what a 'good' setup feels/behaves like.
Can anybody help me ??
