I asked the retailer if it was used as the price was so low... He said,
no... It's a new copy, that EA Sports simply dropped the price to try to
move them off the shelves!

Even though this game seems more of an arcade racer than a sim, I thought,
what the hell, I've paid more than $5 for magazines  (like Autosport, Wine
Spectator, PC Gamer/PC Accelerator, etc...) It's certainly not the best sim
around, reminds me of the IRL sim that came out at about the same time,
although that game seemed to have a few more features (plus the option of
racing Sprint/Midget cars!)

Anyone know if there are any websites out there that might support it? Or if
there are any patches for this game as it is a year or two old....

Even at five bucks you were taken.  With that kind of money you could've
bought yourself two bags of microwave popcorn and a 2-liter bottle of
Vernons.

I know it's not a very good racing sim/game, but for a new (rather than
pre-owned) copy, $5 was hard to pass up!
