Just a couple of questions

I have a couple of questions and was wondering if anyone might be able to
answer them.

1) I have been looking through the N2 manual for anything that talks about
the differences between the body styles (ford,chevy,pontiac)....you know
like in the N1 manual where it talks about how the ford is better on short
tracks and the chevy is better on super speedways and the Pontiac is just
in between the two body styles(N1 pg. 39).  Has anyone found anything about
this?
The only place I noticed that it even mentioned anything about it is on
page 164.  And that is just a small blurp about that a setup that works
well on a Chevy will more than likely not work well on a Pontiac.

2) Are there no tire selections any more?  everyone races on the same
tires?

Also I noticed that if you try and qualify with only your car in the race
season the program kicks you out and gives you a General Fault Protection
error at 0157:080F.

Correct, Hoosier withdrew from supplying tires to Winston Cup for the
1996 season, leaving Goodyear as the only supplier. Our game reflects
this and several other 1996 rules changes.

Haven't found it anywhere other than where you did. The setups do differ
from car make to car make though.

Nascar currently only runs with Goodyear- hence no more tire selection.
Hoosier's on again off again relationship with Nascar is off, for now.

No idea abouot this one.

The body styles dynamics to the best of my knowledge are unchanged from N1.
The Chevy has better front downforce, the Ford has better rear downforce
and the Pontiac is balanced.

All NASCAR races are run with Goodyear tires.

Not something I ever thought to check for. Why would you want to race a
season by yourself?
