Yes and make sure you get one of the 'event' sound packs to add in to
GPxPatch as well.

I installed the patch, but still don't have the other car
sounds. It looks like all the options are checked. Do you
have to do anything special after installation?

Make sure you start the game FROM the patch, not your regular shortcut.
