I've been playing Nascar1 for a long time time offline only....I play
1-2 hours every night in the evening....I recently received Nascar2
for Christmas and really like the game despite any bugs there may
be....HOWEVER, I would really like to have a Save Race feature....I
have to limit the time I play this game now because I can't save a
race....I usually race at 50-60% in race length, which usually takes
me 1 1/2 to 2 hours a night...It usually takes to 2 days to complete
a race....But, now I can't continue to do this....This game is only
Realistic if you race LONG races....How can I achieve this with no
SAVE RACE feature....It seems Papyrus wanted to implement a real race
situation in Nascar2, more so than in Nascar1....I realize that you
are extremely busy, but is there anyway we can get a patch for just
the save race only....work on the other bugs later....PLEASE, PLEASE,
PLEASE. If it's "Real Nascar Situations" you wanted to accomplish,
then how with NO SAVE RACE...Do we just race at 10% of the actual
length of a race...I'm sorry but I'd like to pit more than once
before I finish a race......

Thank You!

Jeff, thanks for saving me some typing... This is EXACTLY how I feel
about this.
There must be a way to patch this so that non-modem racers can save
races, without contributing to the online "cheating".

Anyone from Papyrus that wants to "toss" some ideas around about this
(in strictest confidence), feel free to do so. I REALLY miss this
feature. Thanks.

Larry

I've read more than my share of "I'm sick of Papyrus" and "The program
stinks."

Let me ask you this... how many software product's first public
releases were bug free????????????????????????????????????????

It comes with the territory!  Windows95 was well-associated with bugs
when it was first released ...  Doom, Doom II, Quake, Duke Nukem, and
Myst to name just a couple.

Give 'em a break will ya... they're reading our posts and working on
the problems!  It can't be done overnight people.

I personally find Nascar 2 a very good simulation and have no problem
"living" with the present bugs... after all, they'll be gone in time!

Same thing here, and more, dear Sierra-Pappy please note that I will NOT buy
the game UNTIL there is such a patch, because to me it seems a bit ridiculous
NOT to include such a feature, after all WE are the CLIENTS and WE should
decide if we want to save or not to save.
And I'd like to have someone explain to me how can a save game can let you
cheat in an online race !!!
Anyhow I've tried the demo great racing sim but again,
dear Pappy, NO SAVE, NO SALE

John

I just wanted to add my name to the "list", in case it is worth
something.

Bye,
Luca
