Just curious, if anyone has turned any laps by themselves at 199.000 or
better. This is achievable through hawaii during race, and of course
legal. Just for the record, I have posted a few 199.000 laps while out
leading the race.

I have a 197.xxx something, and I pretty much bite at the game. So I am
sure there is someone out there who has.
I can turn good 197+ laps in a draft, but by myself not on hawaii I can
turn 195.5xx. It's difficult to do this on the regular nascar.exe than
multi.exe due to the different physics models both programs have. Also I'm
wondering if there is anyone out there that can race North Wilkesboro GOOD
because I can't. I can turn a good 114 MPH qual lap, but I can't handle
the car in a race.

I've got a pretty good record at Wilkes. One of the secrets to Wilkes is
turning off all the detail. The front straight is a real CPU hog (Richmond
is another track like that) and sometimes it will "feel" like you're
getting very loose coming out of T4, when in fact, your frame rate is just
dropping. What happens to your car during the race?

Well, the AI is too aggresive. I'm directly side by side with a car into
turn 1, and the car on the outside comes down and slams me. Also
sometimes, the AI pushes me into the point of the pit wall in turn 4. I
really need more practice on this track before I try it on Hawaii.

You will learn where the AI cars will run you into the wall. Turn 2 at
C***te while making an outside pass for example. If you pass in a place
where you know the AI cars will not yield, better finish the pass before
you come off the corner or back off in a hurry.
