GP2: IPX network, possible?

by Mika Melonen il2 » Tue, 22 Oct 1996 04:00:00

Is it possible to play the gp2 with an ipx protocol running. I and my
roommate have 3com Etherlink III isa network cards and I would love to
play a high speed baud rate on gp2. Is there any fake methods to do this.
We tryed out to play with a null moden cable with 19200 baud rate but it
is just terribly slow. When we tryed out the 38xxx baud rate, there was
too many errors on the link, so only 19200 bauds :(.
So, is there any possibility to play the game with a network card?

Excerpts from netnews.rec.autos.simulators: 21-Oct-96 GP2: IPX network,

Hmmmm... We can get 57600 baud with no problems between our P6s in the
office :) if we use the "use16550" option when running GP2.

Try that.
