Okay, but what if we don't have the original Indycar?

And any possibility of getting the Brickyard for NASCAR?

Just Curious,

Yes it can be done....sort of.

Thanks to Sid for telling me that it can be converted from ICR1!

Using the details below and the files included, you can practice and
test at Indianapolis in ICR2.

You can't race (yet) as ICR1 contained no LP files and therefore the
AI cars don't have a clue where to go.

To convert the track you'll need a copy of Gehard's NCAR2ICR.

Maybe one day Gehard can create some LP files for Indy so we can race
there.

How to do it.
-----------------

1) Install the Indy track using the Indycar Painkit/Indy disk. Install
it to your NASCAR directory. Don't install the Painkit and other
gubbins.

2)Unzip the attatched file and copy the INDY.* files to your NAS2ICR
directory. Normally this is C:\ICR2\NCAR_ICR.

3)Run NCAR2ICR and select the INDY track.

4) All going well, it should patch it the file and you'll find Indy in
your ICR2 track list.

Again thanks to Sid for the info. Its taken me ages to patch the
colours and there not all perfect, but at least it got rid of the
green grandstands.

Thanks so much for this wonderful util.  Love to have indy on icr2.
Atalanta is one hot track aswell.  How about updating the .LP files to
include Indy so I can race these guys.  I can't even practice with them
    now.
