Hi there,

We are having an HUGE Lan Race weekend over here in Germany every four
weeks. The CAR, which is an club ( hey, we are germans, what are three
germans in one room ? an club ! ;) with about 20 Members raced an full
season with intermediate long races, last race of the season will be on the
7th August.

Season 2 will be based on full GP lenght with realistic damage modell and
will start in october in Kyalami. From then on, we will meet every 4 weeks
and race an other GP ( Brands Hatch beeing the second ). And LAN-racing with
15-20 Racers is so much fun, it's incredible.

The Members of the CAR are coming from nearly everywhere in Germany to enjoy
this great racing... :-)

CAR ( Computer Aided Racing ) also has an website, were you can read race
reports and Infos about the members, but the site is only in german, sorry
http://www.car-ev.de/

So have fun in LAN races, you have to try this

Greetings,

Michael Staab

I know no one that will race GPL down in South Florida on a LAN.  I don't
have a LAN but if anyone in south florida does, and it looking for racers,
I'm available!!  Some of my friends (who aren't interested in racing) tried
out GPL one time, lol you had to see it.  First he didn't understand the
shifting part (lift-shift-floor it).  Then he would rather go backwards and
hit the other cars than go around the normal way (this one was an arcade fan
more than anything).

Looks like an F1Sim to me.

Don't be tempted to buy the F1Sim Compact instead though. Although it is
cheaper, and feels good at first, they break too easily. When my 4th one
(yes FOURTH one!) broke, each of them within 2-3 weeks of real use (2 broke
within 1 day) I gave up and bought an MSFF.
