If indeed you have a worn or defective pot, you shouldn't have to
replace a new one every couple of hours. It should last a long time before
similar symptoms appear. However, your next idea about buying new pedals
is a good one...they will NOT interact with the LWFF software/electronics so
similar problems shouldn't occur. The pedals on the LWFF are utter
junk...you will be pleased once you get used to another set of pedals what a
difference they can make.
Keep in mind that Logitech does not stock spare pots nor do they supply
replacements. You'll have to come up with that on your own.
Good luck.

Disconnecting power to the unit

At the the bottom of page.
From the Utility Readme:
"Occasionally, the calibration information can become corrupted. Normally,
going through the recalibration routine for the *** device corrects and
overwrites the corrupted calibration
information.
However, in rare cases, the corrupted calibration information cannot be
overwritten. The Logitech Clear Calibration Utility should be used in these
situations."
This Utility seemed to clear up a jittery steering wheel on one of my
systems, (WinME with a WingMan GP), which I thought were the pots (little
***'s) going bad. But I had also swapped the pedal pots, (R to L) so who
knows. Try the utility first.
I had also re-installed the WingMan software (4.11).
BTW if you do "swap the pots" clean and lube the pedal pivots while you are
in there, as I developed a "stiction" on the throttle shortly after swapping
the pots and had to take the unit apart a second time. :-(
Good Luck
